The Islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Africa in front of Morrocco, benefit from a unique mix of desert, tropical and moderate climates.
The island of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was one of Christopher Colombus' ports of transit. There are numerous traces from his passage in the island's capital. Historical sites abound in the capital, including the ancient quarter of Vegueta where you will find the cathedral, Santa Ana square and museums.
There are an infinite number of resort towns outside the capital of Las Plamas island, along the coast, in particular where the gay community meets, notably Playa Del Ingles and Maspalomas. In Playa Del Ingles, you will discover the famous beach of sand dunes, a slightly surrealist desert zone located in the middle of tropical vegetation.

The bars are concentrated in two shopping centers, the El Nilo and Jumbo Centers. There, you will find the usual services. Maspalomas is the gay and lesbian hotel zone. It is a "Bungalow-City" and all types of
accommodations are available. It is the perfect spot for nudists, whether in hotels or on the beach. There is also a large number of possible excursions. Whether you prefer to learn about the island's history or simply wish to admire its impressive landscapes, the choice is yours.
